As I mentioned in yesterdays post I’ve been at download festival over the weekend, I was there for 5 days but only managed 2 outfit pictures! (mostly because my other outfits were head to toe waterproof hideousness) this was one of my favourite and bravest outfits! over 90,000 people were at this festival and I dared to step out of my tent in a midriff showing AWESOME top. though not quite brave enough to wear it without the sheer blouse on top, which also helped to hide my carebear panties that my leggings did a horrible job of concealing!

Hey guys! so I’ve been off at download festival this weekend!
I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had. This was my outfit on saturday for my favourite band ever Iron Maiden though it didn’t last long before I had to break out numerous layers of hoodies, waterproof ponchos and trousers.
Iron Maiden had a spitfire flyover just before they came on stage, the sounds that came out of me where not even remotely human.. they’ve also announced a london show for August! I cannot contain my excitement.
Also I finally made the skirt in this post that I mentioned well over a year ago!

I had SO many problems with this dress though, I bought it on ebay for £25… the seller then messaged me to say she’d noticed a tiny hole when packaging it so she gave me some money off… when I got it though the tiny little hole was the least of my worries! it was baggy and comfortable on my right arm but I couldn’t even get it up the left so I had to alter it, the neckline was awful too but I didn’t notice that until I’d left for the wedding! urgh… I really wanted to like this dress!

So this is my outfit from yesterday, after a wonderful night in the Hilton and the best meal we’ve EVER eaten (and so it effing should be for £70) my partner and I headed out into london, we had some lunch at st pancras station at this amazing locally sourced vegan friendly place, so good! then had a wander around camden for a bit..
I must say though these shoes were a terrible choice! ladies I’m sure we all own at least one pair of shoes like this, they’re flats so we automatically assume they’ll be comfortable and good for when you’ll be walking around all day. Then you realise they’re too flat, there is nothing but a thin bit of rubber to separate you from the pavement, you might as well be barefoot! ouch! my poor tootsies :(

So, I’m supposed to be going to the launch night for an exhibit at my local museum tonight.. it’s all about goths and goth culture, AND I’M IN IT!
I went to a photoshoot with a few of my friends, all gothed up the aim was to portray all the different sub-cultures and most of all to show us as PEOPLE, they had us mucking about and playing with balloons and things it was a good laugh.
Hopefully I should be able to show you pictures from the shoot pretty soon, I did traditional/victorian goth and my outfit was AWESOME.

I don’t really like it all that much, the leggings are a horrible fit and it looks weird with the boots… perhaps I should of worn skinny jeans and heels.

I love this outfit, problem is the skirt is SO short :( I wouldn’t dare wear it out. it’s a lot more leather like than it seems in the picture, for some reason it looks more like PVC here.

Hey guys! I know I was supposed to have the outfit challenge pictures up two days ago but the memory card for my new camera stopped working and I’m waiting on a new one, but today I thought I looked so good I just took this with my old one (even if it did take like 50 attempts to get one half decent shot that still needed a lot of tweaking to get the colours to look accurate)
